- Employment authorization, adjustment of status, naturalization, and other petitions related to USCIS victim-based cases
- Provide Know Your Rights and Immigration Safety Planning education
Criminal Justice Advocacy
- Guide survivors through the criminal justice process associated with their victimization
- Advise survivors on their rights as victims
- Communicate with prosecuting authorities to keep survivors informed
- Attend police interviews and criminal hearings when necessary
Education
- Represent survivors in in student misconduct hearings and appeals (Title IX)
- Work with schools to obtain accommodations and enforce safety measures
Housing
- Breaking leases under the WY Safe Homes Act
Employment
- Negotiate leave from work or other employment accommodations
- Work with employers to accommodate safety needs
- Assess whether employers are in compliance with state and federal laws, including FMLA
